Yeowch!
Oh dear God..it hurts! I ran earlier today...fast. I thought I was heading for my fastest 5K and maybe it was...certainly Lance Armstrong informed me over my Nike+ gear that I'd set a new PB for the mile. I ran so fast I felt like I was going to throw up. In terms of cardiovascular fitness, my past few runs have been slow and easy...I've focused on increasing distance rather than speed. Today, I wanted a short run and thought I'd up the tempo. I did well but I'm paying for it now...my husband and I just had to cut short a meal out at a local restuarant because of my dicky tummy...the runners squits strike again. We skipped dessert! Never, ever been known to happen for us but we skipped it tonight because I figured any more dairy and I'd pay for it later. Ugh!
